Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Seminar for Growers

Growers that utilize or handle anhydrous ammonia are encouraged to attend the Anhydrous Ammonia Grower Safety Seminar being held at the University of Tennessee at Martin on Thursday, December 9, 2021 beginning at 9:00 am in the Graham Stadium Champions Club Room located at 505 University St., Martin, TN. 

Hosted by Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association (IFCA) and the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, growers will gain a solid understanding of how to properly handle and apply anhydrous to prevent accidental spill, injuries and fatalities. Participants will also receive an anhydrous ammonia safety manual and quick reference wallet card. 

The seminar will be led by IFCA’s John Rebholz, a nationally recognized subject matter expert in anhydrous ammonia storage and transfer.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
