Moderate to locally heavy rain continued in the southeastern and Southern Plains through western and southern Texas Tuesday afternoon, with flash flood potential in much of western Texas noted. A sharp temperature contrast was noted, with cool conditions in western areas and very warm to hot conditions in eastern and southern areas.
